I started taking photography seriously about 6 years ago. Much of my knowledge was acquired attending workshops at the Dallas Center for Photography.

Shortly after learning the basics of photography, I discovered the magic of night photography. I love the idea that lighting and color effects can all be created in camera without having to spend a lot of time post-processing, and I really appreciate the slow pace required for long exposure photography. I really enjoy the work of Sandra Jungling, John Shellington, Ken Lee, Troy Paiva, and Katie and Chris Robleski. I've also had the pleasure to shoot with and learn from Noel Kerns and Tim Little.
