Rambutan

The night before, the streets of Hoi An's Old Tower were filled with tourists; the street market bustled with food and trinket vendors; and boats lit by colorful lanterns floated along the Thu Bon River. The next morning, the streets were empty, I saw a man reading his paper at a corner café so I decided to sit on a pillar next to the river and wait for someone interesting to pass by this beautiful wall. I saw her from a block away, walking fast and balancing her basket as she passed by this wall. She heard the click of my camera and looked over with a smile on her face, crossed the street, and sold me some rambutan.
