Akha Boys Playing

In northern Laos, people of the Akha tribe inhabit remote jungle covered mountains and live a simple lifestyle with no modern conveniences such as running water or roads. These three little boys seem happy without modern toys and show their ingenuity by making simple toys. As China continues to damn more rivers in Laos and change the ecosystem of the valleys, these traditional villages are in danger of disappearing.
