New Orleans, Louisiana - This concept with Darrin and Carter Anderson was created to represent the power of fatherhood. We styled the shoot to have the father son pair match. I hoped to convey strength and perseverance through the photograph. Darrin, the father said this about his experience, "Being raised in the hood which I call home has made me into the man I am today. It has helped me build character, ambition, and determination. Becoming a father has changed my life in so many ways. From the bond that we share to the sleepless nights. Fatherhood is love."

Bio
With a camera in her hand since the early 2000’s Izone polaroid, Rebekah Hedges has always enjoyed the power that photography possesses to share a smile or a story. She is a creative photographer and videographer from Dallas, Texas. Hedges has a passion for radiating joy, displaying beauty and sharing laughter. Her strength lies with portrait photography, but she has expanded her talents to wedding and concert photography and videography as well. Previously an educator in Tianjin, China, a crime reporter in Hot Springs, Arkansas, as well as an educator and freelance photographer in Memphis, Tennessee, she is never afraid to travel and explore the unknown. Rebekah is always looking forward to creating art with new people!
